Supposedly, the Council has decided on 2 options for Vadivelu. Vadivelu had allegedly asked the production team to settle a further remuneration of 1 crore to continue to act in Imsai Arasan 2. Our sources inform us that the council's meeting with Vadivelu did not pan out as expected. Based on the complaint, the council members had apparently met Vadivelu to discuss and sort out the issues with Imsai Arasan team amicably. We had earlier reported about the makers registering a formal complaint at the Producers Council, seeking their help to make Vadivelu act in the sequel. A few conflicts of interest problems has put this much-expected film on hold. However, things did not materialize as the team intended. A sequel to Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi, started in June 2017 and the team even released their first look poster soon after the project announcement.
